Pirate Ballads, Sea Songs and Chanteys. Running time: CD1: 77 minutes 39 seconds. CD2 : 80 minutes 05 seconds. The 43 tracks were made in various studios: 16 in Los Angeles, 11 in London, 7 in New York, 4 in Dublin, 4 in Seattle and one partly in Sheffield and partly in Paris. Specifically, they are: Seattle (Bear Creek Studios [4]), Los Angeles (a. Sunset Sound Studios [12], b The Village [1], c NRG [3]), Sheffield/ Paris (Yellow Arch/ Les Studios de la Seine [1]), London (Sanctuary/ Town House [11]), Dublin (Westland Studio [4]), New York (a. Sear Sound [4], b. John Kilgore Sound & Recording [3]). 2006. Issued 2006. Most of the recordings have a raw, live feel, with minimal production. The executive producers were Johnny Depp and Gore Verbinski. The 16-page booklet has a 4-page introduction by Hall Willner. There is no "Explicit Lyrics" sticker, but there should be.
