Irish and UK Folk Music Zone: Someone who tells me "I don't want any attribution to my name, because I relish the anonymity" has sent me an index of mainly Irish and UK traditional artists, with small separate sections on (a) folk-rock, (b) singer-songwriters, (c) early music, (d) old-time, and (e) anthologies. This index is entirely their work. It has been updated to include DVDs. They have given me permission to host their index here. I'm hosting an article, "War archery & social status" by John R Edgerton (known in the Society for Creative Anachronism as Sir Jon Fitz-Rauf), with his permission. The article gives a large number of examples of nobles from the Middle Ages and Renaissance using archery in combat, whether on an occasional basis, or as their primary role during battle. There are currently two significant items on this web site. The first is my resume (see Professional). The second is a translation of a French cookbook c. 1395 (see Personal).
